  • Daycare. The social interaction would be more important to me, and I would feel more comfortable having my child around more people than just one inside my home.

  • Daycare. I think it prepares them for school. Having a nanny is all fine and dandy if ya got money to do it, but I don't.

  • We prefer daycare. There is so much to do and kids to play with. I was afraid that my child would be lonely, watching tv all day at home. At daycare, there are rules our provider must adhere to.

  • Nanny. I had one and she was quite awesome.

  • Nanny.

  • I prefer daycare. I think the social interaction they get is crucial. My daycare provider runs her daycare from her home, and only has 4-5 kids at any given time, so I feel like I get the best of both worlds... Social interaction, and personal attention.

  • Nanny. At this point daycare is a last resort and even then would be as temporary as I could make it. I'm sure there are good ones out there somewhere but I was abused in two of them as a child and every other day it seems like there is a horrible story on the news about one getting shut down or investigated because of something that happened.

  • Daycare. I like it for the socialization, and I'd never trust a person alone in my home, with only my children. The nanny cam stories I have seen on the news scare me MUCH MORE than the daycare horror stories.
