I need dessert ideas for St Patty's day dinner

I'm trying to cook an authentic irish meal tonight but have no idea for dessert.

  • Check out Irish Potato Candy. Russet potatoes, powdered/confectioner's sugar, and peanut butter. You can go one step further and melt some chocolate to dip the candy in. Let it cool in the fridge when it's all done. This one is a favorite of ours.

  • Something Mint!? Like Mint Chocolate chip ice cream. A Cream de mint crust cheese cake. Shamrock cookies!! A irish cream anything.. Even ice cream!! Sorry I'm not much into great ideas on this!! The rest sounds Great!! Good Luck! Have a great ST. Patrick's Day!

  • ive tried several authentic Irish desserts but they've never tasted very good (imo)...so we do green jello & cool whip parfaits.
