  • Friends may bring baked goods, fruits or simple meals that need only to be heated. Do not bring flowers.

Generally, Muslims don't use flowers, gifts, tombstones etc. They believe that the soul has been taken by Allah at the apointed time, so there is no need for flowers, or gifts, or tombstones.

Practical assistance is always welcome, a letter writing your sympathies and thoughts is always appreciated.
But really, there's not a lot anyone can do. They will appreciate you asking.
