  • Depending on the size of the guest list and the weather where you live, it might be nice to have a garden party in someone's backyard. You could make finger sandwiches, cookies, and tea. Set up some tables and chairs, cover the tables all in the same color, and put simple centerpeices with flowers on the tables. If you can get copies of old photos, those would be great for decorating too. Enlist help from any relatives that might be willing to contribute. If you have a techie in the family, ask them to make a slide show of old pictures set to music or play some old home movies.
