What can take ink off of a doll?

My daughter was just given a (Tolly Tots Disney Princess) doll and she found one of her Daddy's ink pens and wrote all over the legs with it before I knew what she had in her hand. LOL. But, now I have tried dish liquid and even a magic eraser and it won't completely come off. It is such a nice doll that I don't want to say, Oh, well and leave it. Any suggestions?

  • Rubbing alcohol and nail polish remover might ruin the doll - they can "eat" plastics so don't use them until you test them in a hidden area. Or try Non- Acetone polish remover.

  • I would try rubbing alcohol, that's supposed to get ink out of clothes.

  • MR CLEAN MAGIC ERASER TAKES ALMOST ANYTHING OUT. MAYBE SOME OVEN CLEANER ON THE AREA AND THEN SCRUB...I WOULD TEST IT FIRST TO MAKE SURE IT DOESNT DAMAGE THE DOLL.

  • Hair spray works on fabric. I would use rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover if the dolls legs are plastic.
