  • Nope. Move to the outskirts of Atl. where its still considered Metro Atl, but still ike 45 mins-an hour from Atlanta. You will love GA!

  • Depends on where you go in Metro Atl and what you consider expensive. Like I have been seeking a 3 bedroom apt. and found one in down town Lawrencville for 675 the lowest in the area. Average was around 800-1000 a month- which for us is expensive. There seems to be a wide range...

  • I lived in Kennesaw for 18 months. It was reasonable. But like ButMommie said, depends on where you look. Just like anywhere else, I suppose.

  • It varies from area to area. The seedier parts of town are cheaper and the nicer parts with good schools are pricier, just like in every other city. But the south is known for its reasonable cost of living, so depending on where you're coming from, you may think everything here is really affordable. Depends on what your price range is though.

  • It can be, shop around and be careful of which areas you are looking because some of the Atlanta outskirts are extremely seedy.
