I want a successful baby shower ....

So my friend wants to throw me a baby shower June 25th. I really don't want one but ... why not have one it's my first baby. So how do i make it a successful baby shower meaning how would i convince people to come out to my baby shower ?

  • Well if u have friends that are there 4 u and they were invited I would think they would show up! I am going to a friends shower in amonth and I will be due about 3 wks later. I will give her something off her list(registry). Just make sure invitations with rsvp is sent and register and not all high priced items. I think gift cards are great from the store u want the bigger items. Most anyone can afford a bunch onesies or ask for diapers. Otherwise I have found they feel guilty if they cannot bring something huge. Also make sure if they cannot afford a bunch of money stuff that the small stuff like a $10,.00 gift card from 4 people towards a $75 swing or whatever will help.

  • Like you, I did not want a shower. Unlike you, my friends respected my wishes.
    After our daughter was born, we had an open house to introduce her to the people we love.
