  • Oh for that I would rather have the dvd player for the car. I have traveled with family and my soon to be mother in law has the double screen one and it saved us.

  • Without....
I think its good for kids to learn patience & what a perfect time to have random talks with ur kids & get to know them... You never know what memories you can make in a car..

  • WITHOUT! Hang up the phones, turn of the wi-fi and DVD players, pull out the earphones, and connect with your family on the road trip! Listen to the same music, tell jokes, sing songs, play "I spy" and show them that technology is NOT a replacement for family.

  • ^^I agree. I had to do it too except I had five kids going from GA to TX. 7, 5, 4, 3, 10w. It was rough.

  • If I were alone then DVD players would be OK, otherwise I don't like the kids to be glued to movies and videos when travelling.

  • With Dvd players, watch a movie, play games, read, talk and watch the sights

  • With DVD players. I try to use the travel time to play educational videos such as Baby Einstein or Your Baby Can Read.
