How much would shipping cost when selling something?

I'm planning on selling some things around the house and just wondered if someone did buy it how much shipping would cost?

  • I run an ebay store and it all depends on what u are shipping... most of the time but not all the time using boxes and taking it to the post office is cheaper.. us priority and they will give u lots of boxes and a scall that u can weigh them at home and print the lables if u have a printer

  • it depends on the weight and size of the item. when i was ebay selling, i learned some things. if you ship any box longer than (i think it was )18 inches it will cost mors. heavy things cost more. try to send a padded envelope not a box if possible, it is cheaper.

    if you pack the item up and go to the post office they can tell you what it would be. i used the APC (automated postal machine) to do this too. i know for $2 i can ship most items in a small coffee mug sized box. the most i ever paid for one item was about $12 for a box i put 2 tickle me elmos in. hth

  • If you sell them on craigslist you don't have to worry about shipping, it's face to face local area and cash only.
