Why does my baby arch his head back and get stiff?

  • Mine does that when she is mad, heh, its part of her temper tantrums, and she has done it since she was itty bitty.

    Is he doing it out of no where? Or is he crying or upset when he does it?

    If it is totally random and for no apparent reason, i would totally take him to the doctor and ask about it.
    If he is doing it when upset/crying then I would say its normal, Kaylee does it still sometimes when she is pretty mad.

  • my son does it when he is mad also. I would say it is normal when they get angry. He also does it when he doesnt want to sit in his bouncy chair or when i would put him in his swing sometimes.

  • My guy usually does it when he has bad gas or something that is painful.
