What can I take for a horrible cough during pregnancy?

Anybody know what is a good remedy for a horrible cough during pregnancy? All the cold symptoms are gone, just a horrible cough!

  • try rubbing vicks vapor rub on your feet and put on a pair of socks....

  • robitussin, any cough drops, vicks 44, chloraseptic, or mucinex.... Those are whats on the list of ok to take meds my doc gave me...

  • To be ABSOLUTELY safe for your baby, ASK your Medical Dr. You would never forgive yourself if you took something some Mom here said was OK only to harm or kill your baby.

  • Yeah definitely. Thanks. My OB says I can take Halls or Cepacol so I've been sucking on cepacol, 2 every 4 hours as prescribed. I just want the cough to go away sooner. It's mighty annoying.
