What is the "in" way to wear high healed shoes these days?

LOL Crazy question I know, but I am so out of it when it comes to shoes.

If I wear them with a skirt or dress do I need to wear hose? Or nothing is ok?

Just trying to update my style...dont wanna look like a looser...hahahaha

  • From what I've seen, hose is out except in a business setting, sometimes. I personally think they look best with trousers and trouser jeans that come down and cover most of the shoe while you're standing (so only a small bit of heel is exposed in the back).

  • I think wearing high heels is uncomfortable without some kind of hosiery. My feet sweat and then it feels yukky. I wear heels only when really dressed up ,with knee high nylons when wearing slacks and panty hose with dresses, skirts. I feel a while lot more feminine that way. Barefeet are for sandals.

  • Ladies- I attend many evening functions with my husband (required for his position) and hoses are back IN- at least this winter. I was shocked!
