Why couldn't I do that?

My dd, age 3 who loves to play outside (understatement, lol) was begging me to go outside. I kept reminding her that she was still sick today and needed to be inside. But Mommy! I'm not sick ! See! please please please and on and on...(poor thing, lol)

My ds, age 12 walks into the room and hearing his sister going on and on, looks at her and simple says, Sissy, look, you can't go outside, you threw up this afternoon, remember?

She looks at him and very simple says, oh. ok and walks away.

Now why couldn't I do that? LOL

too funny, lol

  • And a little fresh air might do her good. Maybe brother can take her out for a few minutes. Just to sit on the porch and talk or sit in the sun for a little while. Don't let her run or play hard. Maybe she could play with her dolls for a little while.
