Best gender neutral color to paint a babies room?

What is the best gender neutral color to paint a room? I was thinking yellow or green?

  • I like sage green. It can be girled up after the birth with pinks and creams, or more boyish with light blue and creams.

  • A light green. I was in Pottery Barn Kids the other day and they had a neutral color scheme that was beautiful!

  • I would think of any color that could be considered as either way. Like, yellow, green, orange and white. I wouldn't care for a bright orange though, maybe like a peach tone. You could always use all three colors in a design. Anything is possible.

  • I personally feel that yellow isn't very neutral. Green, depends on the shade.
