  • Oh yes. I've had to go through a good amount of medical testing in my life and I can tell you first hand, if you look at that needle you'll feel it so much more... it's because the brain reacts to the pain that you THINK is there just as much as it reacts to the real pain... So you get a double punch...

  • I would think it would be true for shots. I am not sure about emotional wounds, though.
