Toddler with a sore throat

my son is 16 months old and is sick with his first sore throat. what can i give him to soothe his throat? i am giving him tylenol already, but he doesn't want to eat much because his throat is still bugging him.

  • My toddler has a sore throat right now too. The only thing she's had today was chicken broth and tea. Better than nothing though. Hope your little man feels better soon.

  • whenever my throat hurts i drink coca cola. i gave my daughter some this winter when she had allergies.
    not too healthy, but sometimes it's whatever works. just make sure he doesn't get too much

  • give him chicken broth, ginger ale; 7-up or Sprite, tea; juices or juice pops

  • Edy's makes some really good ice pops. Pure fruit! Not only taste great but also soothe the throat!
