1 year old feeding schedule?

My son is turning 1 next week and I'm a little unsure of how to adapt his feeding schedule with the inclusion of milk and taking out a bottle or two. He's a good eater. He'll eat cereal, most baby foods, most finger foods, etc. He loves his bottle and is so-so with the sippy cup. I know all babies are different, but what do you think is a typical feeding schedule for a one year old?

  • when my children transitioned to milk, i started feeding them 3 meals a day and two snacks in between. i gave a sippy cup of milk with the main meals and either water or watered down juice with the snacks. they were also completely on table foods by 12 months.

  • My son will be 1 on Friday and he only eats table food. He gets lil entrees and pasta pickups too, but he won't touch anything from a jar or baby cereal. We are starting with milk, I give him one cup a day so far and he gets bottles of formula first thing in the morning (which he abandons as soon as his "real" breakfast is ready lol), around nap time, and befoe bed. I've noticed that he doesn't finish them anymore, so I guess he doesn't need as much

  • My son will be 1 in 2 weeks. I took the bottle away at 9 months, and started getting him on a schedule with 3 meals a day and 2 snacks. I just started him on whole milk last week. He eats breakfast at 8 am with 4 oz whole milk, lunch at 11 with 4 oz whole milk, snack at 2 with 4 oz milk, dinner at 5 with 4 oz, and sometimes 4 oz around 7:30 before bed. He doesnt eat pureed food since he was 9 months. He likes blueberry waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, toast with apple butter, and fresh fruit for breakfast. For lunch he likes grilled cheese on whole wheat bread, quesidillas on whole wheat tortillas with cheese and veggies, pasta, string cheese, soups, and vegeterian chikin nuggets(Boca brand tastes really good), and fresh fruit. He gets whatever we are having for supper: Chicken breast, turkey breast, mashed potatoes, stir fry, any veggies, and pasta. For snacks- fresh fruit chunks, applesauce, peaches, graham crackers, and cheerios

  • By age 1, mine were eating 3 meals a day at normal times and 2 snacks in between. They were completely on table foods and ate whatever we were having. I gave them milk with snacks and water with meals - our pediatrician only recommends 2 cups of milk/day.
