I have a recipe that calls for cream, at the store the only thing I saw that said cream was heavy whipping cream...just wondering if it's the same thing cause I don't wanna mess it up and I just don't know!

  • There are two types of cream in most grocery stores, heavy and light. You can use either in most recipes. Heavy whipping cream will whip up a little thicker than light cream, because there's a higher fat content, but other than that, they're pretty interchangeable in cooking for most recipes.
