  • Home strep test? Take your poor kid to the doctor.

  • Sorry, but I have to agree with anon. If your home strep test reads positive, then your child has strep. My kids always have a rash with strep. We are going through strep right now and none of my kids had any symptoms, except my youngest had a rash. Since he has eczema I thought it could be that, but took them to be tested anyway. They all three have strep.

  • Take your child to the doctor and get a proper test done. Do you prescribe antibiotics too?

  • No, the two are unrelated. Your child needs to go to urgent care for antibiotics.

  • I don't think eczema will affect a strep test. I didn't even know there WERE home strep tests.
