Is it normoal for your hands to get num when pregnant?

from my previouse pregnancy my hands would get num is that commen in pregnancy

  • My hands would go numb during pregnancy all the time. It really started to bug me with my right hand it would go numb doing anything, sleeping, reading, writing, even just sitting on the couch. It went away about 2 weeks after I had baby though.

  • numbness is a common complaint... it could be caused by excess fluid putting pressure on the nerves... talk to your doc if it persists

  • Oops I forgot to add, so YES it is normal. My doctor said it happens in a lot of pregnant women. Has something to do with a pinched nerve or something like that.
