What was your favortie thing about you child being a newborn?

Mine would have to be being able to hold him all the time. Now that he can walk, he doesn't want to be held hardly ever.

  • The piece & quiet we had before they could talk,,,,, priceless. lol. My house sometimes sounds like we have 4-5 kids here but it's only 2. But wouldn't change it for anything.

  • Having an excuse to NAP! A child sleeping on my chest, especially my own, was the fastest way to knock me out. Now my kids are 4 and 7 1/2 and it sounds like I have elephants in my house all the time.

  • I loved watching them fall asleep. I could tell the exact moment that they were truly asleep and it always made me feel... I don't know, I can't even describe it

  • The way they used to fall asleep in me and I would fall asleep with them. There's something powerful about a newborn sleeping. Or when I was breastfeeding them and they finally learned to latch. Watching their jaw move and hearing them gulp contentedly.. more babies. I know that they don't stay like that forever.
