Do you have any ideas where I can find someone to perform my wedding ceremony. I am marrying my girlfriend and the wedding will be in New Jersey .

We live in a domestic partnership state which is great. I am just not sure who can perform it.

  • Is it legal in NJ? If not then you can just have a close friend read the vows and all of that, if it is legal than a Justice of the Peace from the county your doing it in or a minister. Good Luck!!

  • Also if you want a close friend to do it, someone that knows you well, they can get ordained as a minister online so they can perform weddings.

  • Seeing it is legal in NJ, then a judge, court commisioner or any clergyperson can perform the ceremony.
