How does Yoga help you lose weight? I know it's good for that, but what are the logistics behind it?

  • have you ever had a cat?
all they do is sleep all day and stretch alot
granted some cats actually like to play and some cats don't get the right diet and are fat but..
MOST cats are muscular and in shape just from all that stretching

  • well...the yoga breathing can get you to fill your lungs as opposed to shallow breathing that most of us do most of the time. with more oxygen your body can function much better, and a better functioning body may want healthier foods, and may not want to hold on to fat. also, it can reduce the effects of stress, which again can prevent your body from holding on to fat.
    just my thoughts!
i think it should be a part of a healthy lifestyle.
