What do you do about dandruff?

Do you just buy a store bought shampoo or do you have a home remedy that you use?

  • My dd has it bad. I massage Tea Tree essential oil into her scalp let it sit 15 min or so then shampoo out. I've also used olive oil or coconut oil, massage into scalp and then wash out. You can actually combine it and add several drops of Tea Tree Oil (it smells very pungent) into one of the oils listed above as a double duty and then shampoo out. She also uses Scalpacin shampoo.

  • I use a mix of apple cider vinegar & water & pour it over my scalp. It works! Helps your ph balance to return to normal.

  • My 12 yr old son has it bad. Head & Shoulders didn't help him at all. I had to switch. So I tried Denorex, which has both shampoo and conditioner combination to make it easier. It seems to help.
