Has anyone else noticed?

how close some people get to the car in front of them? Have you ever had someone pass you and cut you off and then slam on their brakes? What do you do?  I just slow down and let them go on about their business

  • Yes, I have. I’ve also seen how they are speeding up in the back of me (viewing rear view mirror) and I usually get out of their way. It’s especially dangerous during different weather conditions. There are some aggressive drivers out there. I just give them their space as well as getting away from them.

  • Yes, I've noticed. I figure they're just in a hurry to get wherever they're going because they have to pee or something....I usually follow that up with a hope that they don't get hurt on their way - especially when they're crossing that double yellow going up hill in a blind curve. Craziness.

  • I try to keep 3 seconds between me and the next car.

  • I try not to tailgate. If I'm being tailgated, then I either get over or just let them pass me. You never know why someone is in a hurry.

  • Yes I have. DH drives a truck. He hauls hogs. Once you have ridden in a big truck a time or two you realize how scary people drive.

  • DH is also a volunteer fire fighter. People cause too many wrecks by following close or cutting off. He gets to clean those wrecks up.
