For your kids: bath, dinner, and then bed? or dinner, bath, then bed?

I usually do bath 1st because of the no swimming after eating rule, but then again, I'm breaking the don't go to bed right after eating rule. Which one do you break?

  • Dinner then bath, since we'll need to get the food out of her hair.

  • we usually do dinner then a few hours later bath and then even later bed..my kids are older so it also depends on the night, if we have soccer practice or games then it is usually dinner then games, practice or whatever, then bath, lastly snack and then bed.

  • I've always done the dinner, bath then bed....kinda ritual. I think the bath always signified that a book was going to be read to them and then bed was a gimme. They always knew what to expect that way.

  • Dinner, bath, homework, reading, bed is how it goes here. Unless it is summer, then it gets all mixed up.
