When can your baby start to hear?

Like if you or your so were talking to them, playing music for them etc...

  • Babies can hear in the womb,before they are born so it would seem they certainly can hear when you talk to them after they are born,etc. Why?

  • exactly when my little started hearing i dont know but i do remember being in the car about 16 weeks or so and hearing the eagles come on the radio and he started going crazy..still does every time they come on

  • at about 3 months pregnant they can start to develop hearing.

  • Very early on, I started playing "her Music" at bed time. When she came out, I played "her music" everytime I wanted her to sleep. Even now, she is 8, I can turn on the music and she goes to sleep.
