2yr old height...do we double or triple to find out what she will be when she older?

i just came back from my dd 2yr appointment and i was not sure if its double or triple the height to know what her permaent height will be? thanks

  • I would THINK only double it, which would be sad, that would make my angel only being a 5'5" man when he grows up :(

  • I know people who say it's doubling, It's not always accurate.  Ask the pediatrician what they think.

  • It's double. For a boy you double and add an inch or 2. But I believe it is a crock of shit. I was so worried about my son because of that. It put him at around 5" 4". He was tiny at 2. Now he is 15 and 5' 10".

  • I don't think it's right. I remember seeing my brothers in his baby book ( my mom calculated it) and he was supposed to be like 5'9" or something based on that.... He's like 6'2" or so.

  • well is 34 1/2 inches as of today. so i guess she will be around 5'9ish. but who really knows.
