Question

So, I had the right side of my wisdom teeth cut out on Friday.
Can I still get dry socket now?

Because, I'm a soda drinker and would love to have a freaking soda! lol

  • Sure.

It will take quite a while for it to heal completely. Even if you feel that those gum flaps are sealed, keep in mind that the connection is still very weak.

  • Yes, they can form now. If you are in pain, call the Dr right away. I had dry sockets form in all 4 of mine, the faster you get them taken care of the better. Or even if it is not a dry socket, perhaps an infection starting, you want to get it looked at.
