  • My son got one for Christmas and he's used it just a couple times. He asked for it and wanted one so bad, but now he hardly touches it! They're cool, but I think it depends on the kid. :)

  • Everyone I know who bought them was less than happy with them and several of them didn't work at all.

  • My nephews got them for x-mas and seemed to really enjoy them at the time.

I'm not sure that gift would have a lot of longevity but they seem like a good, quick thrill at least.

  • Gift they wanted. Gift they got. Sits in the corner of the room untouched.

  • A great gift. My four year old LOVES it. He sits around playing guitar all the time. Its so cute.

  • I say its a bad gift, because they will not be learning anything really from it. IF they get interested in actually playing the guitar this would be an awful example of how its done. Then again he is just a go with your gut on this one !

  • I'd say good gift.
I was looking at them at Walmart in Dec. for a Christmas gift for my 9 year old little cousin. I found a gift set with a guitar, strap, and amplifier. It was the only one, so I took it and scanned it. $15! Cheaper than just the guitar! (possibly a leftover or returned Black Friday deal?) So of course I bought her the set. She was thrilled when she opened it, and her mom said it is actually pretty cool. She still plays with it.
