Feel happy happy joy joy and butterflies every time I look at my child?

  • There are definately time I dont . Just part of being a mom. Doesnt mean you dont love them!

  • I don't think so... I mean I don't. There are times I want to move out of my house and send DH the custody papers! Those moments pass. I think every mom has those moments, just some are more pronounced than others. Mine are pretty rough but I am also a very get angry first think about it later kind of personality. The older my kids get the better I get. I know I love them with all my heart even when my personality flaw tries to get the best of me....

  • lol -- Oh Gawd I hope not! At times, I have undoubtedly looked at my child as though she is the devil's spawn (just kidding princess) -- but then when I look her sleeping, I get the "oh joy joy, butterfly feeling" you described. All in a day's work! :-)

  • Well I do , but not all moms do. My sister doesnt.
    My DS is only 17 months old and I am pretty sure that when he becomes a rebelious 14-17 year old....there will be no more butterfly happy happy joy joy feeling ...hahahaha !

  • Lol, nope! I know I always love my kids and put them before myself. But, truthfully, there are times that I do want to beat my head into a wall or pull my hair out because of their fights or whatever. Yet, when things calm down I do get the butterflies and adoring feelings.
