How long would you reccomend waiting if you had a c-section to concieve again?
not that im looking to get knocked up right away since baby is in just curious. all doctors say diff have to wait 6 months...2 yrs...etc...

  • I agree with Armywifeashley. It depends on why you had the c-section and what kind of incision they made. I have to admit mine was an emergency baby in distress cut from belly button down situation and with complications afterwards I was never able to get pregnant again.

  • My dr recommended between 18 months and 2 years at minimum.

  • That's the kind of thing I'd talk to your doctor about. It usually depends on how well you healed and things like that - I've heard you should wait at least a year. It also depends on whether or not you'd want another c-section or you'd want to try a VBAC.

  • I agree- my Doctor said MIN. 12 months, but all say different things.

  • i had a c-section as well and well DR. said bout 18 months to 2 yrs if i want to try VB.
