Should I keep looking for a boy name if I told my Mom the name me and my husband picked out and she said "It's not horrible but I would keep looking"?

  • It is your baby. Grandma will love him no matter what you name him.

  • i wouldn't let that change my opinion of it. if it's something you and hubby like and agreed on then that's all that matters. you could just mess with her and keep looking for truly horrible names and make a list of those just to freak her out (and maybe she would be more kind to the real name lol)

  • It is your choice- it'll grow on her. :-)

  • Name that child what you and your hubby want to name him. Trust me. Nobody will give a flying flip once his beautiful face is smiling at you.

  • It doesn't matter if your mom doesn't like the name that you chose, it will be the name that you give your son. You like the name that is all that matters.

  • Its up to you and your DH to name your children, she's not going to disown her grandkids bc she doesn't like the name. My mom wants me to name my dd2 something that she likes I just ignore her names bc it's my child she had her chance to name her kids.

  • I would thank mom for her opinion and name the child what I want.

  • Your child, your choice. If she doesn't like it, tough nuggets, it's not her baby or her choice. She'll have to deal with it.
