  • I would say an affair was something that causes someone to feel jealous. My definition of jealous is: a feeling of being left out or replaced. If a conversation that my SO was having with another person was causing me to feel left out or replaced I would feel like he was cheating... For example: 1. Sharing exciting news (raise, promotion etc.) with her FIRST 2. Sharing medical issues with her FIRST 3. Sharing ANY personal information about me or our relationship. To me if he were to share things with her FIRST I would feel like he was replacing me with her.
