  • I know all about that! Unfortunately, my protection wasn't up to date and they got me. I couldn't do anything, the box refused to leave even with a manual shut down. I ended up manually shutting down my pc and restarting in safe mode. I was able to do a computer scan and fix in safe mode - thank goodness! So irritating!

  • I was wondering if I was the only one. Twice a window/ tab pops up warning of a threat and starts to scan for virus right away. The first time it happened was while I was reading a PM mail and the second just now as I was visiting a friend's page. When I saw I didn't recognize it as a windows program or my own security program. I did a complete scan of my pc after the first time. I ran two programs and found nothing. It's gettting me nervous. I can't financially handle it if some virus were to ruin my only computer.
