  • I either snap at them to stop, give them brutally honest advice or IGNORE them. Mainly, ignore them.

  • I delete them off FB because that's where it's usually at, lol. If they do it in person, either say something about it, or don't hang out with them anymore. Whining and complaining about it to other people makes you just as bad (not meant as a slam, just saying).

  • At first I'll give them advice, then I'll tell them to either do something about it and stop bitching and then I just ignore them.

  • i ignore them. show them that I'm not interested and no one really wants to hear anyone complain. I can put up with children, but when it comes to grown adults, i find that somewhat pathetic and annoying.

  • I just try to distance myself from them as much as possible, unless I can phase them out of my life all together.

  • Ugh! It drives me crazy, I work with a woman who whines and complains ALL the time. I have tried ignoring her, I have tried sympathizing with her, I have tried giving it back to her - nothing works! She just goes on and on and on. I finally just resorted to calling her Lexis, my dd name who does nothing but whine and complain.
