  • Ibuprofen works much better.  Take a few (up to 4 of the 200mg is ok) as soon as you start feeling pain.  If you know when it's going to start, then begin taking ibuprofen the day before.  Aleve works well also.

  • Are they always bad? I went to my doctor and got a prescription pain killer because mine are always horrible. Do you have a heating pad? Those always seem to help me. Good luck!

  • Also, hot bath or shower, heating pad, and warm liquids are good.

  • This is going to sounds silly, but it works! I used to get cramps so bad in high school that my aunt would literally have to carry me out of the nurses office. I can truly say I knew what labor felt like before actually having a child! I would take excederine. It works wonders. A nice warm bath or a heating pad helps also.
