If it's too cold to plant your seedlings in the ground...

do you need those lights over them or can you put them in the window sill?

  • My son and I planted sunflowers and we put them in the window sill, and I wasnt sure they would grow, but they are growing like crazy! They get lots of sun there (when the sun decided to shine in WI) lol. So yep. I would say with sun and water you can get it to work.

  • It depends on how many you have! lol I have so many plants right now that I'm having to hang lights because ALL my windows are FULL of plants. I can't help myself! lol Also, they might do better if you place them in an Eastern facing window or a Southern facing window, if you have them. Good luck with your seedlings!
