RSV/strep throat

So our DD is 2 1/2 months and in daycare. We just got notice this morning of strep in her class, well the class is split in two and it was in the other half. Is there anything we can do to help prevent her from getting it other than keeping her home? Our best defense against any of that right now is that she's BF. Thank you!

  • Good luck with that mom -- My DD is almost 4 and we wouldn't have the problems we do IF ONLY other parents would keep their sick children AT HOME!

  • her daycare is allowing the kids with strep to still come to class? strep is extremely contagious. i would keep her home and if they're allowing kids with such contagious infections to come, i'd find another school.

  • They say the parents didn't know, but they have to report it to all parents at the daycare (on a military base) as soon as they find out.
