Does woman need emotional support from husband during and right after pregnancy?

How important is it for a husband to be there for you emotionally and physically during and after pregnancy?

  • My husband left me in the hospital, the day after our son was born via C section, for a trip. 8 months later I'm still very resentful he CHOSE to do this. Not good....
    Emotionally very important....but it's tough emotionally be there for someone if you aren't there physically, IMO.

  • It's Extremely important! Pregnancy can be hard and doing it alone can make it even harder. It's nice to feel that support from your spouse!

  • It is very important. I am pregnant right now and have no support from my husband. He does not realize how important it is, he puts me through so much stress that I am affraid that I will loose the baby:(
