Is it okay to celebrate 1st birthday early?

Our daughters birthday is in August but we may be going to flordia for 6months starting in june so we'd miss being here for her 1st birthday..

What are your thoughts on celebrating it in May or June?

It's so early but 1st birthday's are special to me. Is that dumb to do?

  • I say WHY NOT?? You won't always be able to do this, so enjoy it while you can!

  • I dont think its a huge deal. You're still celebrating her special day just the same as you would in August. ( And it's not like she will really know the difference!) Go for it! Hope she has a great day.

  • My son's birthday is July 4th and I almost always celebrate early. Nothing wrong with celebrating before you leave.
