  • My moms sometimes makes them with poppy seed dressing. She cooks frozen GBs in the microwave, lets them cool, adds fresh tomatoes, chopped and some minced onion. Then covers it with poppy seed dressing. YUM!

I also sometimes make a green bean salad, like my mom, but put balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

  • In olive oil and chopped garlic. Cut up and put in spaghetti, mac and cheese. I like them cold with lemon juice, salt and pepper.

  • I have noticed that I can get my kids to at least try cooked green vegetables as long as I don't over cook them(still a little crunchy or still a nice green) and add some chopped up bacon, onion and garlic. Not a lot of bacon-I usually cut up two or three strips. It has worked with green beans, spinach, and brussel sprouts. They won't eat all of it but they do try it and it makes things easier the next time I serve it.
