  • I am in Iowa my home is 6000 sqft it is worth 950k. We have an additional 1000 sqft indoor pool area attached to the home that isn't included in the square footage. There is also a large guest home in the back our lot is 5 acres with a pond and another outdoor pool and jacuzzi.

  • There is so much more to a home's value than size and city. We live in Chicago; the identical home can be valued differently based on the neighborhood. For example, a small brick bungalow may sell for less than $200,000 in a run-down neighborhood, and $450,000 in a more desirable neighborhood. A brick home will be valued at much higher than a frame.
