  • Yes! I'm a HUGE fan of McLeod's Daughters. I even purchased all 8 seasons! It started out as a TV movie in 1996 written by Posie Graeme-Evans, she in turn turned it into a wonderful series that lasted 8 seasons. It was an hour long Australian drama about 4 women that ran a station (ranch in Oz). It ran from 2000 to 2008. The two half-sisters (both McLeod's) were brought back together again after the untimely death of their father. Tess is the city girl who comes back to claim her 'share' of the station but soon falls in love with the country and the land around her. Claire is her half-sister who has spent her entire life running the station through good times and bad, and feels threatened when Tess says she thinks they should sell and divide the profits. But she soon learns that there really are no profit to be had. It was full of fun, laughter, love and lots of drama. The Ryan brothers, a nice addition to the series.
