can u put cereal in breast milk??? just wondering because i willl be breastfeeding until at least 6 months.

  • when you introduce solids, you can definately mix the cereal w/your breastmilk.

  • Some people will mix formula/breastmilk in a bottle with cereal, I never did I never found it useful. But as for mixing in with cereal and feeding it to the baby, there is no problem at all doing that, you can even pump and save some of the milk as keep using it as you baby gets older and use it in cereal and other things

  • Yes. Cereal and fruits/veggies if you make your own baby food. It works better than water for some people because it's a familiar taste.

  • Your baby is technically not supposed to get any solids until at least 6 months. That includes rice cereal.
