What do you say?

What are your words of choice when you stub your toe or burn yourself or step on a hard little toy (or hurt yourself some other silly way)? Do you curse? Use a made up word? Growl? Use plain old 'ouch'?

I was fond of saying 'shit', but with little ears I've switched it up to 'aww snap' or 'grrrrrr' haha.

  • SOB sometimes pops out, if it's excruciating! But a simple bump, I give an exaggerated OUCH!! lol My little ears will repeat everything I say, good and bad. I've learned to clean it up a lot.

  • Holy Flying Monkeys! or Biscuits and Gravy! (I had to stop using "biscuits and gravy" to curse at work because it was making my coworkers hungry!) LOL

Answer by catsmom1993 at 11:38 PM on Mar. 22, 2011

  • I try very, very hard not to curse. I have a fowl mouth, but when my son started to repeat things I decided to watch what I say. Not as easy as I had thought. Ha! Now I try to either make up a work or just say "Mother" at the very least. Instead of saying the whole phrase...
