1 Bump

My son is on a high calrioe diet and is a very picky eater. Any ideas on how to get him to eat more?

He was 49 pounds and is 66 pounds now was in a hosptial for 42 days

  • Make the food as per his choice by including the nutrients like vitamins, carbohydrates, proteins, & fats in a balance form..

  • being picky, maybe you can make smoothies which you can add protein and tons of fruits and veggies without them tasting like it..

  • When I was going through a similar situation, my nutritionist recommended that I drink 2 glasses of chocolate milk a day with whole milk. I also drank that carnation good start between meals. And of what AnuMeha said also.

  • GNC and other places like it sell high cal shakes, and high cal powders that you can add to anything.

  • trying both now he just got out of hosptial yesterday scared he is going to start losing the weight again

  • Well my sons hi Dr told me to put a tablespoon of Olive oil in soft foods like yoget and three tablespoon is 100 cal. I haven't tried it because in scared but that's want I was told to do

  • salad dressing. BBQ sauce, any condement. They are notorious for being high in cals.
