Could you forgive?

If you knew that living with your in laws and some fights that they caused made you stressed out even though they knew you were pregnant they were horrible to you and then you lost your baby- could you forgive them? How would you start the process to begin to forgive them?

  • I am so sorry for the loss of your baby. You can't have fellowship without forgiveness because bitterness and resentment always destroy fellowship. Because we're imperfect people, we inevitably hurt each other when we're together for a long enough time. Sometimes we hurt each other intentionally and sometimes unintentionally, but either way, it takes massive amounts of mercy and grace to create and maintain fellowship. Remember, you will never be asked to forgive someone else more than God has already forgiven you. Whenever you are hurt by someone, you have a choice to make: Will I use my energy and emotions for retaliation or for resolution? You can't do both.

May you have a happy, healthy Thanksgiving!
