  • Heck yeah I would. I live in AZ, where there is an abundance of sun year round...we only get a few scattered weeks of rain a year. Now, if I lived somewhere that has much more frequent cloud cover, I don't know. But I think it's a good idea.

  • If I wasnt in a Condo I would. I am in Florida...we cant get away from the sun ! It would save us soo much money in the long run. Its just a matter of coming up with the money to get it to begin with. They are really expensive.

  • I have found that most situations that cause us to loose power happen in times where there little to no sun light.

I'd rather have one that runs on svo or bio diesel.

  • No, as we don't get enough sunlight where I live to make it worthwhile . We have an all-electric home., most of our electricity comes from renewable resources anyway and is reasonably priced

  • They make good sense. I want a few things first like water purification tabs. I can dig a latrine and poop in an outhouse, but I need water to drink. I can get a generator that runs from riding a bicycle and charge some needed items if I wanted. Lots of people have those.
