How late can you delay baby's vaccines?

  • I believe that any vaccination can be given later or there would be no way for immigrants coming from areas where vaccinations are not readily available get them when they arrive here.

  • You don't have to vaccinate. There is no law stating that you must. I suggest you do a little soul searching, and a lot of research before you stab your baby with poison.

  • True, the decision is completely yours. We chose to delay vaccinate our children. No vaccines until 2 months and then only 1 or 2 at a time, no closer than 2 weeks apart. Our kids haven't been more than 6 months behind other kids so far. Though there are a few we've elected to skip all together for now, like Heb B and Chicken Pox (because they have minimal exposure to others).

  • Many schools and day cares "require" them but there are exemption forms...well at least for school there is. I suppose a privately run day care could deny services if they wanted to.
